In 1982 former Yardbirds members Chris Dreja, Jim McCarty and Paul Samwell-Smith asked John Fiddler to front their new band Box Of Frogs. The band released two albums, with guest guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Steve Hackett, Rory Gallagher - and Ray Majors!

Comments: John Fiddler only sings on five tracks (*). This album was also available on cassette in USA (Epic BET 39923) with two bonus tracks - "20/20 Vision" and "I Keep Calling". Fiddler is the featured vocalist on both. The latter is also found on a UK 12" single ("Average"), but "20/20 Vision" is not available elsewhere.

Comments: this 40 minute interview disc, subtitled "an interview with Frogmen John Fiddler and Jim McCarty by John Tobler", was issued to promote the first Box Of Frogs album in 1984. The same interview and songs were also made available on a transcription disc in the "BBC Rock Hour Show" series (show #539" - airdate 23 September 1984 - US only).
