GENYA RAVAN

Genya Ravan released an album a year starting in 1969 with Ten Wheel Drive's "Construction #1" on Polydor, up to the 1974 release of "Goldie Zelkowitz" on Janus, but created her most popular recordings on 20th Century Fox in 1978 and 1979 when she released the self-produced "...And I Mean It" and "Urban Desire". Mick Ronson played lead guitar, and Ian Hunter sang duet lead vocals with Genya on "Junkman", the stand out track on her "...And I Mean It" album. It was also released as a single in Norway.

UPDATE! The Ian Hunter 2CD collection "Once Bitten" from 2002 also includes the track "Junkman".

Junkman (1979 7" single) Tracks: Junkman / Love Isn't Love - Norway 7" single: 20th Century Fox 6162 168 Comments: Both songs were culled from the "...And I Mean It" album. The single was only available in Norway which is strange since I have yet to find a Norwegian pressing of the LP!
