MEDICINE HEAD radio transcription discs

This page details radio transcription discs featuring Medicine Head - also known as radioshow LPs. Since the early 70s, the BBC Transcription Services in London have made radio programmes available on LP and distributed them to radio stations abroad for broadcast. They still do, but these days they use CDs instead.

These albums are popular with collectors since they often include songs recorded live in the BBC studios which are not available elsewhere.
