MICK RALPHS BLUES BAND - "Should Know Better" - new CD!
Recorded live in Leicester in November 2012, "Should Know Better" is Mick's first 'solo' album in a decade and he is backed by a fine group of musicians he first met a at jam session a few years ago. The CD is available from www.mickralphsbluesband.co.uk. More info
HONEST JOHN PLAIN - new single featuring Verden Allen!
"Never Listen to Rumours" is the 'new' single from Honest John Plain. It was released on 24 September 2012 along with a promo video from renowned film director Tony Klinger. The single and video also features Casino Steel, Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa (Hanoi Rocks & New York Dolls), Verden Allen, Martin Chambers (The Pretenders) and Darrell Bath (The Crybabys). Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) also plays on the single but is replaced by Sami Yaffa in the video. More info
NEWS - June 2013
SANDY DILLON - two new CDs featuring Mick Ronson and Ray Majors!
The compilation album "Flowers" was released in December 2012 by NRX Records. It has songs from both of Sandy's unreleased mid-80s Elektra albums, "Dancing On The Freeway" and "Candy From A Stranger". "Dancing On The Freeway" (1985) was produced by Mick Ronson and Dieter Meier. "Flowers" is available in CD plus mp3 formats from Amazon. More info
The latest Sandy Dillon release is "Shipwrecked" from 2013, a 2CD set recorded over a period of three years with Ray Majors. The album also contains two "buried treasure" tracks with some surprising guests from Sandy's past, notably, a duet with the late bassist Jaco Pastorius recorded live in New York in the 1980's. "Shipwrecked" is available in mp3 and flac format from cdBaby. More info
MAGGI RONSON - "Sweet Dreamer" - new CD!
Mick Ronson's sister Maggi has assembled an allstar cast on her musical memorial to her brother. On the album "Sweet Dreamer", released 26 may 2013 she performs songs from Mick's career backed by his friends and colleagues. More info

Monty Warren's cover of "Jerkin' Crocus" was released in December 2012. He is backed by his band the Frigging Whatevers. Great name! More info
MOTT THE HOOPLE Announce UK Tour Dates in November 2013!
The band will be returning to the UK in November 2013 for five dates only:
Mon 11th Nov 2013 Birmingham, England
Wed 13th Nov 2013 Glasgow, Scotland
Sat 16th Nov 2013 Newcastle, England
Sun 17th Nov 2013 Manchester, England
Mon 18th Nov 2013 London, England
The shows will feature original members Ian Hunter, Verden Allen, Mick Ralphs and Overend Watts (bass/vocals). Due to ill health, original drummer Dale Griffin will be substituted by Martin Chambers (The Pretenders).
All tickets are priced £40, except London, which is £45 – subject to booking fee and available through www.aeglive.co.uk. Tickets go on sale at 9am GMT Friday 26th April 2013.

U.K.SUBS - "Angel Of Eight Avenue"
Still going strong, U.K.Subs released their 24th album on 06 February 2013. "XXIV" contains 14 killer electric tracks plus a bonus CD with 12 acoustic tracks, one of which is a cover of "Angel Of Eight Avenue". More info
ALGEBRA SUICIDE - "All The Young Dudes"
Algebra Suicide's live CD "Summer Virus Night" includes a version of "All The Young Dudes". The album was recorded in 1990 but not released until 2009. More info

VERDEN ALLEN's SOFT GROUND - "Love You & Leave You" - new CD!
Verden's new album is credited to his new band Soft Ground, and was released by Angel Air Records in February 2013.
The band consist of Verden alongside Matthew Blackout (drums), Jamie Thyer (guitar) and Rob Hankins (bass). Most songs are re-recordings of classic Verden Allen material and it could easily have been labelled "Verden Allen Greatest Hits"! More info
